These Stanford Lake houses are historic dormitories built in 1963. The buildings are completely renovated to accommodate current design standards with accessibility and sustainability in mind, including converting the gas system to electric to take advantage of renewable energy. In response to the pandemic, the restrooms are a new "pod" concept, separating users and utilizing touchless fixtures to prevent the spread of germs and other pathogens.
