Located at a busy commercial corner on University Avenue, this project upgrades a previously unassuming single-story building to a towering landmark. The site is built both up and down, with two levels of underground parking and four levels of aboveground mixed-use commercial and office space as well as three residential units. Color-stained concrete pays tribute to brutalism while still emulating the stucco textures of surrounding buildings. Between bold concrete lines, vast panels of glass span floor to ceiling, bringing the street seamlessly into the building. Glass guardrails cap off the tops of concrete slabs for a clean finish.
